This two-year Fellowship Program in collaboration at Northeastern University and Bioverativ Pharmaceuticals is designed to offer Doctor of Pharmacy graduates an in-depth experience in a biopharmaceutical industry setting. Bioverativ focus: The core responsibility of Medical Affairs at Bioverativ is to generate and communicate clinical and scientific data as well as engage in discussions with key stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), patients, and payers. Bioverativ's Medical organization informs real-world medical practice and optimizes patient outcomes by generating, and delivering clear, timely, and clinically relevant information that addresses unmet medical needs. Medical is responsible for providing healthcare professionals, regulatory agencies, and professional groups with the medical and scientific information they need to understand our company's products. Throughout the medical fellowship program, the fellow will have the opportunity to explore the different functional areas within Medical Affairs, including core rotations in:

Cross-functional Collaboration with Commercial, Regulatory, Clinical Development, and Information Technology Northeastern University School of Pharmacy focus: Fellows have the opportunity to teach courses in both large and small group settings and co-precept introductory and advanced practice experiential education students. Fellows will also participate in teaching seminars with residents and fellows throughout Massachusetts, and will work with Northeastern faculty in the areas of teaching and scholarly projects leading to publication and scientific presentation. The fellows will work at Bioverativ's office in Waltham, Northeastern offices on campus, as well as various clinical practice settings (hospitals, clinics, pharmacies) with Northeastern faculty.
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited institution, eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Massachusetts, excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills, ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at Bioverativ and Northeastern.
