The Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center Clinical Pharmacy Program provides many opportunities for professional development. Residents will be working in face-to-face as well as tele-health clinics where the clinical pharmacist works under a scope of practice and has prescriptive authority. The pharmacy residency program at Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center is focused in ambulatory care with a variety of learning experiences to train well-rounded pharmacists.
