OVERVIEWThis temporary hourly social worker serves as a member of the University of Washington Social Work and Care Coordination department, primarily providing services to the Women's and Infants care division, including maternal & infant care clinic, labor and delivery, antepartum and neonatal intensive care units. There is potential for training to provide services to Transplant and Inpatient Psychiatry units as well. Responsibilities include screening and assessment, crisis intervention, advocacy, psychoeducation, grief support, connecting families to community resources, and working collaboratively as a member of interdisciplinary teams. MSW, with health care experience required. Licensure as a Social Work Associate or Licensed Social Worker in Washington State required within 90 days of employment.
