St. Joseph’s Hospital North is located in Lutz, FL and is part of the BayCare Health System. Pharmacy residents are based at St. Joseph’s Hospital North with opportunities for experience throughout the system. The required learning experiences of the residency program consist of administration, antimicrobial stewardship, internal medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, and practice management. Completion of a research project and a medication use evaluation are also required. Throughout the program, residents will have practice responsibilities, be assigned to interdisciplinary committees, and be involved with educational activities. Residents will function as an integral part of the hospital’s patient care team.
Candidates who meet eligibility requirements are invited to apply for a PGY1 residency position by submitting an application via PhORCAS (Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service) by January 10th, 2019.

Official College of Pharmacy transcripts
Three (3) letters of recommendation using the forms provided in PhORCAS
Eligible candidates will have obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy prior to the start of the program and must be eligible for licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in the state of Florida
