The residency program is designed to prepare pharmacists for advanced level practice at a community-based hospital. The resident will function in a multidisciplinary healthcare team and be responsible for the provision of evidence-based and patient-centered medication related care. Resident will develop strong foundation in infectious diseases, critical care, pharmacotherapy, operational, and practice management skills. Resident will participate in Clinician Directed Performance Improvement project that is based on Intermountain Healthcare renowned model for performance improvement. Resident activities include: multi-disciplinary rounds, antimicrobial stewardship program, in-services for staff and patients, ASHP Midyear poster presentation, P&T Committee participation, MUE and new drug reviews.
