This program offers the most advanced and effective surgical treatment of esophageal atresia and related conditions, and patients are referred from throughout the world for treatment. As a member of a multidisciplinary team and a member of large, thriving social work department, the social worker will provide a broad range of clinical social work services to infants, children and their families.
The Outpatient EAT Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:
Outpatient clinic support.
Comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, counseling, facilitation of use of hospital and community resources.
Psycho-educational and psychosocial consultation to the medical team.
To qualify, you must have:
Master's degree in Social Work, LCSW or LICSW in state of MA.
Experience in medical environment is highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This is a 20 hour/week day position – schedule TBD
