Hunterdon Healthcare System comprises a 178 bed, Magnet designated, non-profit community teaching institution and 29 outpatient practice sites in New Jersey. The ambulatory care specialist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical services in family medicine and primary care settings. The pharmacist will see patients both in collaboration with providers and independently for certain disease states. The faculty member would be expected to provide pharmacy and medical staff education. In addition, they will serve as a preceptor to the medical center's pharmacy residency programs and have both didactic and experiential teaching obligations to the school of pharmacy. The faculty member would be actively involved in hospital and university committees.
