The Program in Women’s Oncology’s at Women & Infants Hospital is recruiting for a full-time Gynecologic Oncologist/Translational Science Researcher. The successful candidate must qualify for a faculty position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. The job responsibilities include: providing clinical care in the Program in Women’s Oncology, teaching and research.
The successful candidate must have proven clinical/surgical skills in gynecologic oncology as well as a demonstrated commitment to research and teaching. In addition to clinical care, the candidate will contribute to the development of a successful translational science research program, with significant protected time for research as part of the job responsibilities.
The Gynecologic Oncologist/Translational Science Researcher is expected to participate in faculty activities of the Brown University School of Medicine, and to qualify for promotion at appropriate times in his/her career as outlined in the Departmental Statement of Faculty Organization, Standards and Criteria. Qualified candidates are required to be board certified/board eligible and have completed gynecologic oncology fellowship training with an ACGME accredited program. .
