Dover Behavioral Health SystemÂ is seeking aÂ dynamic and talentedÂ Staff Educator for our growing hospital. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and delivering quality training and education to hospital staff that aligns with the strategic goals of the hospital. The position is generally Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with some flexibility based on training needs.
Key Responsibilities include:
Create and deliver effective onboarding and orientation for new hires with the goal of helping new employees excel at delivering high quality care and create a positive patient experience
Ensure new hires are meeting the outlined competencies for their assigned role
Participate in the 90 day and annual evaluation process for new hires
Create and maintain an ongoing educational work experience for all employees
Partner with Human Resources to manage the orientation process ensuring effective delivery of required curriculum, create and update classroom materials, etc.
Identify, design and facilitate trainings, CEUs, and in-services for the hospital
Provide retraining and reeducation based on staff development and hospital needs
Partner with Human Resources and the Management Team to facilitate the Annual Competency Fair and any other hospital wide trainings and/or in-services
Serve as the hospitalâ€™s Healthstream Administrator and utilize the system to provide education to the hospital
