The Financial Analyst manages all financial processes, financial reporting, and oversight for the insurance programs, financial statements, collateral, and actuarial reports, etc. Provides additional support for financial projects, as needed.
Essential Job Duties:
Assists in identifying needs of insurance department in developing insurance financial reports.
Gathers appropriate data for financial reporting from IT systems/applications/front end software. Serves as subject matter lead for data support.
Defines data requirements and validates information for reporting purposes.
Creates appropriate tracking systems.
Generates ad hoc reports as needed.
Develops processes and procedures to manage core projects.
Prepares complex insurance financial reports and analysis to support management reporting around the insurance function.
Serves as a liaison to internal and external auditors and works with outside vendors to manage projects.
Prepares and assists in collection of certain financial data for company insurance programs.
