The University of Chicago's Department of Radiation & Cellular Oncology invites applications for a faculty position to provide clinical radiation oncology services in its Chicago and suburban locations. Candidates must have a medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent), residency training in Radiation Oncology, and board certification or eligibility. Responsibilities will include clinical care and potentially leadership of a practice comprising one or two radiation oncologists plus nursing, physics, dosimetry, and therapy staff. The clinical work will primarily be based at one location, but coverage is required at other sites as needed. The successful candidate will have a high level of patient care skills. Experience as an attending radiation oncologist in an academic institution is preferred. Experience participating in clinical trials as an attending radiation oncologist is also preferred. Compensation and rank will be determined based on qualifications and prior experience.
