In this role, you will assume total clinical management of specific patients in collaboration with the physician; follow established standards, procedures and practices; and gives specific patient management directions to nursing and other staff. Incumbents in this position may be required to perform all or a significant combination of duties depending on their specialty area.
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing plus completion of an ANA accredited Nurse Practitioner Program; one year experience; and licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the District of Columbia and Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nursing Association.
