LeaderStat is conducting an executive search for a Vice President of Quality and Clinical Operations for a skilled nursing/long term care and senior living organization in West Virginia. The Vice President of Quality and Clinical Operations will report to the Chief Operating Office, and will oversee and direct the clinical healthcare operations including skilled nursing, home health and hospice care.
The Vice President of Quality and Clinical Operations will assist with developing tools to measure performance against the standards, assessing and monitoring performance and intervening with a plan and/or resources to improve performance in order to meet or exceed established standards. The Vice President of Quality and Clinical Operations assumes responsibility for all facets of clinical operations, measuring results towards a focus on high standards and desired quality outcomes. This position fosters a culture of delivering outstanding clinical services and results. S/he will collaborate with the nursing consultants, and campus leadership, in various aspects of healthcare operations. An ideal candidate has a genuine interest and knowledge of healthcare and a desire to support the overall mission and objectives of the organization.
The Vice President of Quality and Clinical Operations will be an innovative leader in integrating healthcare operations to support the Regional team in delivering the highest quality of care. We are seeking a results driven nursing executive who possesses a motivational coaching style delivered in a global picture servant leadership model. We are considering candidates with proven experience as a VP or Divisional/Regional Nurse with a multi site long term care/senior living organization.
Vice President of Quality and Clinical Operations Qualifications include:
•Current state license as a Registered Nurse
•Bachelors degree in Nursing required, Masters degree in nursing or health related field preferred
•A minimum of 5 years nursing leadership in skilled nursing/long term care
•Multi-site oversight in clinical management with a high level of expertise in federal and state regulations and annual licensing of nursing facilities
•Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation
•Previous experience in a Director of Nursing role preferred
•Ideal candidate will live in the Charleston, WV or Morgantown, WV area
